An American comedian, Jeremy McLellan recently shared a post on his Facebook account highlighting two Pakistani national trapped in the Eastern Ghouta, Syria for 7 years and facing serious issues. They were unable to contact the embassy for their evacuation.

Jeremy McLellan claims that his post was seen by a woman whose father is a former ambassador and foreign secretary who then stepped in to get them out.

The two Pakistani nationals are named, Muhammad Akram and Sughran Bibi. They are now on their way to Pakistan.
